About Me: I graduated from Iowa Wesleyan in Mount Pleasant, Iowa in 1992 with a B.A. in Physical Education and minored in Health and Coaching. I returned to school and received an endorsement in Elementary Education and Reading from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. I have been teaching at Albert City-Truesdale since the fall of 1998, starting as the Chapter 1 Reading and Math teacher for 12 years. I taught 5th grade for 5 years and I am currently in my 2nd year of teaching reading in the morning and physical education/health in the afternoon. I have three children, Jordan Kragt, married, and living in Des Moines, Laine, a junior and Reagan, in 7th grade at Sioux Central.
